Is it possible a guy would really ignore a girl that hurt him for months to “teach her a lesson” ?

Most of the time, though, if there's a situation in which a guy hasn't spoken to a woman in months, it's not that he's trying to teach her a lesson so much as he just moved on.

I'd really need more information. Hurt him how, exactly? Was it something that caused him to break up with her? Did he specifically tell someone he's trying to teach her a lesson?
