In my experiences, guys would feel disgusted I thought they were cute. It’s why I barely compliment men because I don’t know how they’ll react or what they’re thinking. And that scares the shit out of me.
BUT, I hope your experience is different and he’s just shy like someone said. A lot of men don’t get compliments much and they don’t know how to react.
