So guys I been talking to this guy were talking a lot about being friends with benefits I am wanting to do it but want no why I feel so nervous about it is it just first time jitters or what

So I've done FWBs a lot. Two types is how I'm going to break it down. 1) There is the woman just out willy-nilly doing it just to see what it's like. 2) There is a reason she is interested in friends with benefits's... She's married, has a boyfriend, is career-oriented, finishing school, and basically has a reason such as an LDR, that makes them want to scratch the itch, but have no interest in latching their claws into a guy for long term.

#2 works the way it is supposed to. #1 always equals some bullshit because she catches feelings. #1 does usually end amicably a lot though because she'll find some other guy and think she's stepping into something with more long-term potential. Spoiler alert... it's just a short-lived fling.

Now that I've said all that... which one are you? I think you should ask yourself if just randomly getting fucked is all you really want. Because that's basically all your going to get. We are and become what we practice. So if you sit around thinking about a long-term relationship... this is not the move for you. It will start a pattern that just leaves you alone or being called up for a booty call. Think about it.

It might be the move for you then... it scratches the itch. Here is my words of warning though with a story from my life. "We are and become what we practice." Now to the story...

The last chick I got into this situationship with basically had a boyfriend she plans on marrying. I'm a military dependent, wife is a E-6, she is a E-7, her man is stationed out in bumfuck Egypt and my wife is deployed... which lasted for over a year.

She and I did everything according to plan... basically, a fuckfest until a couple weeks of before my wife returned. I kept tabs on her and watched what and how it played out. She went buck wild after we ended and she just had to jump from dick to dick. He man finally comes back, and they did the whole marriage thing. About a year later it ended and I think it's because she practiced cheating so much she couldn't stop. Never cheated before me, and now I think she will never stop.

Anyways she's divorced now and randomly getting plowed I bet. The Wall is approaching. I'm 41, so she's getting close to that magical age of 30. I'm not saying the wall would stop everything and the options right away, but... the pattern she's now practicing means she's basically doomed to be a lonely cat lady.

That pattern I'm talking about is something that's really hard to just quit and be a different person down the road. I would go so far as to say it's harder for women. I turned on a dime and I was just like "you know what, I'm done with that bullshit." Marriage still going strong. What she don't know doesn't hurt her.

It's just a warning of what may come to pass from a certain practice and a story. Take it with a grain of salt if you got your shit sorted out.
