Why would a guy show the initiative to talk with me and acts flirty , says compliments but in the evening he ignores me ?

Depends, where are you guys going with this? He could have any number of things happening at night, whether it’s just kicking back, relaxing, maybe getting some sleep, or he’s busy with other women which would be fine if he’s a single guy. You need to establish what’s going on though so he can act accordingly if he is interested in pursuing something with you.

I think you should ask him what his intentions are. I’m sure there’s several things you worry about when it comes to that question, but if you value your time then you don’t want to waste it or invest it where you shouldn’t. I’m typically not a fan of men who lay it on too thick with the compliments and flirting (love bombing) in the beginning, as it’s not always their true nature and in so many cases become inconsistent. Save yourself from that disappointment and hurt if he isn’t interested in working towards a relationship. Since it’s brand new, you can walk away unscathed.
