Guys & girls, WHY are relationships with 18 year old girls and men 25+ years OLDER considered "acceptable" when it's NOT a good relationship?

Many a time if the man & woman are in the same town it started before she was 18 and she was literally groomed into the "relationship".

It is not very uncommon to hear that a relationship between a 25 / 25+ year older man and a 18 year old girl started when the woman was 16, 15 or even for that matter 14 and ONLY became "public knowledge" when legal and thus the guy wouldn't end up in jail.

Furthermore psychologically these sort of relationships are simply predatory.

A man who is 25+ years old seeks out a 18 year old women because of the simple fact these females are young, naive, uneducated and thus solely dependant upon them.

There is after all little to nothing they can relate on - different tastes in music, fashion, etc. - that makes the foundations of a healthy and happy relationship among other peoples.

He targets younger because he is unable to deal with a mature woman who knows his conduct - hitting her, demeaning her, drinking like a fish after work, etc., etc. is unacceptable.

And why statistically - ask anyone in police**, social services or medical care - these relationships are highly ABUSIVE due to the fact she's unable to escape the situation easily.

**What police, social services, and even medical see. From my great-grandfather about 31 male relatives - father, brothers, cousins, married into the family, etc. - have worked at state and federal level police organizations.
