What does that even mean? We were talking about our life stories when he told me that.
Intrigued is a pretty potent word. It's a step above "interested" and a notch below "enamored." If he says he's intrigued by you, chances are, you've caught his attention in a way that's more than just surface-level. You're not just someone he'd chat with to pass the time; you've sparked a deeper level of curiosity. Intrigue is all about the allure of the unknown, so he's basically saying there's something about you that he finds compelling and wants to understand better.
Now, what is it that's got him so intrigued? Well, it could be any number of things: your personality, your wit, your intelligence, or even the mysterious vibe you give off. The point is, he sees something in you that he finds genuinely captivating and is probably eager to explore that further. A word like "intrigued" typically points toward emotional or intellectual curiosity, rather than just physical attraction.
But let's pump the brakes for a sec; while it's exciting, don't go picking out wedding invitations just yet. Being intrigued is a starting point, not a finish line. It's an invitation to reveal more layers of your personality and to get to know his as well. A lot could happen as you both get to know each other better. He could become more intrigued, or the fascination could fizzle out as he learns more. It's a dynamic process!
If you're interested in this guy, reciprocate by showing curiosity about him as well. After all, relationships, whether friendships or romances, are two-way streets. Take this as an opportunity to deepen your conversations and spend more time together to see where this intrigue leads you both.
So there you have it. Being told you're "intriguing" is definitely flattering, but it's also a bit of an adventure prompt, asking you to delve deeper into the experience that is 'You.'

for me, that the person gives my mind something oddly interesting to mentally digest. be it a different perspective, a different physical look, a new/different idea to think on. it is often an opening for a person to build some sort of relationship type foundation if, when told they intrigue me, they are smart enough to understand that opening (even if only small and/or brief) , so also helps weed out those that are kind of a blind squirrel who found a nut types from those who have the apptitude to find them often.
Just that. Don't read anything into it. Just simple English of he's intrigued by you. Something you told him was interesting. Doesn't mean he likes you, just means you're interesting.
he's trying to act sophisticated so you'll sleep with him, but at age 42 you would know that
