My crush approached me and he began talking to me while I listened. While he was talking, his eyes gazed down to my lips then back up to my eyes. What does this mean?

He maybe wanted to analyse your facial features, maybe he just broke eye contact and watched your lips, but he may have thought of kissing you too, you will find out soon if he you guys will see each other more.
