Probably not to b****es today (keep in mind i said b****es, not women not all women are b****es). Take this video of a Barbara Walters interview with Sean Connery. She calls him a chauvinist. Keep in mind this is the same man who was about the same time voted the years sexiest man alive. I think with some woman the battle of sexes makes them incapable of succeeding ANYTHING to a man. Which I understand and as a man you just let her do her thing. But a man isn't going to tolerate disrespect either. I guess what I'm saying is a man KNOWS he's bigger and stronger. So a MAN never feels the need to show it to a woman. Sean says in this interview that he'll slap a woman. But he also explains his position on that very well.

So yes i think Sean was voted sexiest man alive because James bond was an extension of his personality. He may have been playing a role. But his ability to seduce a woman was not a role. It was ingrained of who he was. I think intoday's age a lot of guys play a role. They tell a woman whatever they think will achieve there goal.

So yes I think older "alpha" (I hate that word) men are attractive to women, but it's got to be the right type of woman. The simple truth is women have many of the same tendencies but all women are different.

An older guy is appealing to certain age group of women. For instance, a younger girl may think I am attractive, but that is far as it goes. Hell, I'm her father's age.

The same goes for me, I see a pretty young girl in the 20's/30's and she looks great but that's as far as it goes. TBH the first thing I think of when I meet or talk to young women these days is, she'd make a good friend for my daughter. LOL

I would think I would appeal to those women -5 to + 5 years my age. It is within that age group that I would have most in common when it comes to life experience, music, etc.

Just like @Apple1996 said below, younger women are more interested in a guy that can go multiple rounds in a day. I'm not interested in spending 6 hours in bed and having sex all day long, been there - done that. I'm am more a quality kind of guy than quantity these days. I think it's just part of getting older and I'm fine with that.

I don't think men should be afraid to compliment each other, and within a good circle of men who respect each other, they are not afraid to.

Old guys can be attractive in their own way, but right now as a woman in her twenties... Nah, not really. That's my dad, and that's my husband's dad. The thought is icky lol but I know that when I'm in my 40s I'll feel a lot differently of course.

I do think that it's a shame that these days most people feel like men don't get good qualities until they're older. It's true a lot of times, as we all see, but only because of failed parenting and a failed society. I don't really like to use the word "alpha", because it means different things to different people and because of the type of people who typically use the word. But Men who are good leaders, are likable, capable, have follow-through, strong values, etc... Yeah, I can appreciate that in any man. I just happened to appreciate it more when they're young and hot like my husband.

I prefer older men and I find middle aged men attractive, especially as I get older.
-But health is HUGE, I work in health care and I see men in their 40s having heart attacks… I don’t want a man that I have to take care of, sorry!
-Older men typically have their shit together and are done playing games. A solid career, vacation time, pays their bills.
-No expectation of having more babies, I have my three and won’t be having any more.
-Knows what he wants in life and will be forward with me.
As for looks some men really pull off the salt and pepper hair, the smile lines are show character!!! And the rough edges that show he’s worked hard to get where he is, yes please!!

I've had no less success/attention from women in my 40s than I had in my 20s. If anything it's improved, as the high caliber women who are in their 30s give me way more attention now than they did when I was 21, 22. I also think the caliber of woman who gives me attention now is much higher than when I was 21-23 or what have you. I had a lot of "party girls" hanging on my in college, and while they still shoot me a look or strategically drop something from time to time, I'm also getting attention from the classier ones as well. There should be no surprise which I prefer. The sides of my hair are grey, and I can only do 40-one handed pushups and about 5 or so one-handed pullups, and a 30-mile ruck is far more tiring than it used to be, so I'm not going to pretend like I'm in anything near the best shape of my life, but I can still wear the same belt I wore deployed and have far more life experience to sculpt my perspective on things. Does every woman find me as attractive now as she would have 20 years ago? No certainly not, just as many wouldn't find me attractive at either age, but I can honestly say I'd trade nothing to swap the "now me" for the "then me."

Most woman I date are in their 20s... so I'm assuming when I'm in my 50s most women will be in their 30s. I think the beauty of it is that women like older guys, but when you are older, the competition falls off a cliff. Most guys have not stayed in shape, they don't have their shit together, or just are plain boring. Whereas in your 20s everyone is competition.

The older I get the more mature I prefer my man, there's only one, to be.

However, this whole "Alpha Male" thing is usually more of role playing by beta to zeta males from what I have seen.

I prefer men, and women for that matter, to just be nice and genuine. If there is something impressive about a person, it usually comes through and it is even more impressive when it is discovered on its own. Rather than them screaming it at you.

Nah I only like younger guys. They still have the energy to wanna fuck all the time. Old guys that wears down overtime. From what I've gathered on this site most older guys can't go multiple rounds... so that's like a huge turn off to me. There are a few older guys that still do look great and could maybe sex good but I wouldn't personally date them just because we wouldn't be compatible due to the age gap.

I really don't have a good answer for this, I think my wife appreciates having me around and finds me attractive. Not sure about what other women think about me, but it doesn't concern me.

perhaps, maturity, level and patience play into attractiveness, especially if women think that older men possess those qualities more so than younger men.

Based on the amount of attention I get, I would say yes. The thing is though that by middle age, they can see how someone will be in the long run, their habits, health, interests, decision making ability, etc. The good high quality ones are highly sought after, while the lazy ones, weak ones, or men with bad Gene's that are going bald by 30 and 100 + pounds overweight are avoided.
