Im just curious, I have a long distance friend that will show his face on facetime when I dont. isn't that weird?

He acts like it doesn't bother him. Yet, im honest it makes me extremely anxious. We mostly just talk on the phone everyday. So , seeing his actual facial expressions makes me anxious. Obviously part of it is because he's an attractive dude. When i see a cute guy all my confidence kinda goes out the door. he's only a friend though, this would happen if i found any guy attractive.

So one day i just wanted to do some out of pocket shit lol. We both hate feet lol but i took one for the team and asked him what his foot looked like 😂 i didn't really care i just wanted to see if he would do it. I thought he was gonna just send me a pic not go full facetime on me. He kept the camera on his face majority of the time before i called him out on stalling. He ended up showing me his pale ass, hairy foot sticks … he's tall … so were his feet.

But anyways then he stayed on FaceTime for a hot min. I took that as he wanted me to hop on. I tried and for a while i thought he could see. Yet he just paid attention to his tv the whole time. So then I felt weird cause i kinda trying to get used to his face ( by the way its not my first time seeing him but it happened maybe 3-4 times in our 4 year friendship) so im trying not to look like a creep by constantly staring. Turns out the whole time he couldn’t see me and he thought i pussed out… again😭 which i cleared up that i was on the call with screen shots.

Next day my end finally does work and this bitch doesn’t hop on. He said he was on his computer so he couldn’t but even the night prior he just used his phone. And thats how its been for the passed 4 years. only once we were on the FT at the same time but he had a mask on (covid) and i was just there. Otherwise it’s either one or the other showing their face, even when i build the courage to join.
