What Girls Said
No, I only think less of autistic people (not just men!) when they use autism as an excuse for their shitty behaviour. For example - I met a guy a little while ago who would go on and on about “everyone hates me because of my autism”, when really people hated him because he would sexually assault girls, he would trick girls into engaging in his fetishes and he would cross boundaries and ANY time someone tried to hold him accountable for his actions, he’d have a tantrum and refuse to take accountability, and just continue playing the victim and saying that people hated him for his autism.
You are not less of a person just because you have autism. You deserve kindness and respect just like anyone else. Most of the time, people do not like you because of WHO you are, not because of some disability.
So I made myself completely vulnerable with a girl I had never dated prior to her but i completely opened myself up. I also was very kind caring and compassionate and It still wasn’t enough
Okay, she clearly wasn’t the right girl then
I doubt it was because of your autism though. Maybe she just didn’t like you in that way
So why enter a relationship
My 5 yr old nephew who lives with me is autistic. I could never think less of him.
