Guy I know says his type is taller skinny girls with blonde hair blue eyes. But there’s this girl in our college class. She’s pretty, but she’s like biracial but fair skin, skinny but curvy. He has the hots for her though.

The guy is my friend but why would he tell me he has a type if he’s into this girl who looks nothing like what he described?

Because by being curvy biologically the biracial girl implies higher reproductive value.

Stemming from when we were cave dwllers overly skinny women were attributed to poverty, disease, etc. and thus considered a last ditch opinion to reproduce with. Not desirable. Historically they were quite prone to dying while pregnant or in childbirth.

It is only recently that overly skinny women have started to be seen as desirable.

Why can't girls understand this? Guys may admit they have a type, but that doesn't mean they can't/won't find other women attractive. It's simple.
