Guys, what does „You have never met a guy like me before“ mean?

Hi guys, I could use some advice because I can‘t think straight and I‘m beginning to analyze every word he says to me which makes my nervous system go a bit high lol.

We were talking things out due to incompability, me expecting things more than he can offer and him rejecting me because I wanted more. He said „You have never met a guy like me before and I really hope you don‘t, don‘t worry lmao“.

What could that mean? I doubt it‘s meant in a way of entitlement or representing himself as someone better than anyone but what makes someone say that?

I respect his decision not wanting to rekindle because he has no reason to, but still I‘m kinda sad for not behaving as a friend to him as I supposed to and got lost in my anxiety/and overthinking
