Is it possible to be obsessed being intimidated with a person than a relationship with that person?

I been through a similar situation like this current situation several years ago. I’m just as confused as I was then regarding his behavior. Of course I thought it was sexual in my earlier relationship. I thought he wouldn’t leave me alone until he had sex with me. I mean he put up with a lot of my 💩 because he wanted sex. When we finally had sex he still was there no matter what I did to piss him off, (Not talking about cheating). The same thing is happening in my current relationship he reminds me of a ex. What’s really the obsession? Why couldn’t they just let go after a break up?

Humans are social beings, there might be friends with benefits vibe here, it's possibly he might be using you for sex, its possible he might be using you for company, it's even possible he's using you for both and there's of course always the possibilities of more reasons that can be somewhat limitless but I'm sure eventually you'll figure it out

At this point he’s annoying but I do still like him and we broke up several times but he always come back begging and each time it’s harder and harder but easier for me to end the relationship. I guess I’m losing respect for him.

They couldn't let go because they knew they'd never experience the life altering phenomenon of being your boyfriend... which is a little like being the number one golfer or tennis player in the world, and then going back to the local club scene. If that happened to me, I'd have a hard time letting go, too.
