I'm easily underestimated. Not a boast. Just the result of being considerate of another's Ego.
It usually takes a little time and/or experiences with an acquaintance, where problem-solving issues arise, to elicit the potential in how things progress. Overconfidence disturbs me so I try to be mindful of remaining understated, by not emphasizing having an inclination for suggesting or implementing working solutions.
When a generosity on my part becomes expected, or when a sense of entitlement makes demands of my skills it has no right to, then I know my intelligence is perceived as a threat. My low-key demeanor is mistaken for a vulnerability to seize, in an attempt to retain my services, by asserting a superiority over them. I guess I come across as being too dumb to understand, that they are too dumb to understand, just how dumb it is to think I'm so dumb. I don't need to be recognized for being right. The moment that is used against me, it is the same moment when even the densest armor wrapped around their pride, evanesces into the "Emperor's new clothes". They're the last to realize just how foolish they really look.

I avoid eye contact, and never talk to them. maybe ill sneak a quick glance at her. but beautiful girls I end up crazy over are always intimidating, because I know girls just don't like or want me. they make it obvious in soo many ways.
