Why does he ignore me now?

I have been dating this guy for almost a year. We are countries apart. Recently he returned and we were together as always. We didn't have any issues. He returned to work and all was well. He became so busy and I was complaining as usual. Then he went quiet, I tried to reach out, no response then I went through a friend he picked and said he had been in an accident. I tried to call and text him countless times but in vain. It's been 2 weeks now. I one time texted and he said he only expected a simple greeting. I'm so confused. I miss and love him dearly Please advise.

There is no way any of us are going to know 100% why he is doing this. I can take a guess though but it may not be the real reason. So if he is really busy and left for another country he might just be depressed he had to leave you. The one thing I would advise against is getting upset at him for being busy. Long distance rarely works so you need to be extra careful because this sorta thing can happen and now you are a worry which is totally understandable. Problem is if you pushed him away you can't really get in touch with him unless he responds. Maybe send one message asking him to reach out when things slow down and you will be there when he has time.
