Why would a guy make goofy eye movements at me when he sees me without my mask and sees my face that has some make-up on it?

We have known each other for a year and there were only 2 occasions when he saw me without my mask on and he acted weirdly.

Nobody has ever behaved in this manner towards me. What's going on?

People do it to protect their loved ones who have weak immune systems. Like, if it was their mother, father, or grandparents.

I take the tests cos im vulnerable and would rather know if i have it or not n i mix with old people too there's no need to cover ur mouth anymore u can do other things

Fair enough if ur relatives r in a nursing home. I just think its not sustainable and i think it may damage peoples immune system in the long run not to catch anything as if u get really ill u won't be able to fight it off

Stil alive i think its fair enough to have reservation s that another lockdown could happen if the virus spread especially during the winter. i had a rough time during lockdowns was isolated dont even know how i got out of it. i dont like seeing constant memories of it

As soon as he saw me appear without the mask, he made it very obvious to me that his eyeballs have stopped moving for several seconds. It looked goofy and weird to me.

Yes. He is the staff nurse of my father's ward in the nursing home. He is very caring towards us.

He comes and talks enthusiastically to me and my father at my every visit, always trying to be helpful.

No, I don't want to get into any romantic relationship with him. I am just very curious about his overreaction on seeing me without mask on the 2 occasions while the rest of the world act normal about it. Lol. I am very interested in human behaviour.

Well if you talk to him regularly then he's just used to seeing you with the mask on then without. maybe he's more expressive facially with his emotions than the others...

or maybe just maybe... he likes you ;)

but if its the latter then the only way to know is for one of you two to ask the other out and your are they accept :P

Yeah so its not a definite thing. his facial expressions are a bit ambiguous so thats why i say if you wanna know for sure then go for it. ask him out lol :P

No no no, I won't ask him out. The first time when he saw me without mask was cos the weather was so hot so I removed it for a while. He saw and said loudly wow why I wear make-up and I was embarrassed and said "No lah, cos the weather is very hot". And he giggled like crazy. Nobody in the nursing home wears make-up except me. Lol.
