How should a guy react if he’s holding a girls hand and men whistle at her?

doing nothing and keep walking is usually the best choice... perhaps just looking back to make sure who did it and how many of them could be

a whistle, is just a whistle... and it's just a stupid thing to do by a stupid person, not worth to ruin your day over this

and you might think... oh the disrespect, oh a coward that cannot defend or stand up for her or make others respect her... it is a whistle, nothing else... by a stupid person, is not worth it

and then... you have to consider the bigger picture... more often than not, the same stupid guy or stupid group of men do this exact one thing to test, and also to provoke a reaction and usually they will outnumber you... it could be two, or three, or four to give guys while you are alone with your girl, so if course these stupid guys will feel safer to do stupid things and if you confront them and "demand" respect for you the girl... guaranteed that they will only laugh at that and say even worse just to prove how stupid they really are and because they know it is 5 to 1

they will never be like "oh shit, you are right dude... I was so wrong to disrespect her so you know what, my apologies to you both" no... idiots don't do this, lol

and this is not even the worse that can happen... if it gets physical, then you are risking even more but more importantly... you could put her in greater danger or in a place in which these idiots will disrespect her even more

best to be smarter and just go on with your life... because in this case it was just a whistle... lol

I've had to do that a few times, and done it, no matter what, even then... to keep you safe is the priority and not just getting into fights or altercations for the sake of it or "respect"

Nothing. It is at best a compliment to the woman you are with and at worst a disrespectful act. If it progressed to comments, or a physical act then he must do what he is capable of doing. As a man who is comfortable in the realm of conflict & violence, I would walk away. Avoiding the fight is always the best tactic. If it’s a controlled social function and the potential for violence is minimal, then a calling out the behavior is appropriate. Maybe harshly, maybe not. I’d factor in the players in the game: are these coworkers of hers? A boss? A distant acquaintance? A drunk colleague? There are too many factors to consider.
