Do guys get upset when a girl gives them a hickey?

I have never given anyone a hickey, even trying to it never worked. So I assumed I was just unable to do it. Now I'm older and I did it on a guy...it was huge! I feel horrible. He laughed it off, but I'm not sure if he's upset with me. So as the question states, do y'all think he's mad?

I was dating a younger girl, and she got really into it when we were fooling around and gave me this huge hickey. It looked gross, and she was immediately really upset. I didn't think it looked that bad, but when I went into work, my friend noticed immediately and laughed at me.

I had a female coworker cover it up with makeup, and no one else said anything to me. The next day, it was healed enough that it didn't look like a hickey anymore.

I wasn't upset with her - I just didn't want to have to talk about it at work.

Exactly!!! When you have them it's showing people your business, and that's not ok. I feel like it's childish, classless, and distasteful.

I wouldn't say mad. He's probably more surprised than anything. Hickey's are just something that's unusual.

I don't know if HE'S mad... I was always a little embarrassed by them. Like if I go to the doctors, and there are hickeys ALL OVER. Or when I lived with my parents, I'd have to come home and try to hide hickeys from my girlfriend.

I always had kind of this rule about not giving me hickeys, because I'd feel weird if I had a bunch of them all over.
