How do men show love?

As far as the "love languages" subject goes showing love has been categorized into 5 main ways. Men and women each do these.

Affirming Words: praising our mate, expressing what is good about them, why we love them, how much they mean to us, praise their looks, how well they make us feel, what good partners they are, we are blessed to have them in our lives... etc.

Acts of service: Doing things for one another, serving them and doing acts/deeds to make them feel loved and to make their lives easier, cleaning, filling up the gas tank, making them food, drawing them a bath, taking care if they don't feel well, running errands for them.

Give Giving: Buying their mate things to let them know we were thinking of them or bringing them joy with the gift.

Quality Time: Spending time with their mate, planning dates, doing things together.

Physical Touch: Holding hands, hugs, kisses, cuddling, wanting to be near and be physically close with one another.

Men show their love by doing things for and protecting their loved ones. That's how we are wired.

With that in mind, I have two pieces of advice for women.

• Let your man show his love by doing things for you. It will make him feel valued and closer to you. Not letting him help you or do things for you is a sure way to turn a good man away.
• Stay away from men who don't show their love in that way.
