So there’s this guy on Hinge that liked my profile and gave me one of his roses, which you have to pay for a rose to send that to somebody. He was showing a lot of interest for the first few days always initiated conversation with me first on the app. He even started sending me voice messages on hinge. I was really enjoying the conversations with him. Two nights ago he told me good night darlin and that he was going to message me the next day. He also said, if you keep impressing me, I may even ask for your number 😉😘. It’s been two days and he never reached out like he said he would on the app like WTF? I haven’t said anything to him as I’m kind of pissed off

That's hella weird. Who leads a girl on like that then just drops off the face of the earth? Total dick move on his part.

My best guess is he was just playing a numbers game, sending out as many roses as he could to see who would bite. Maybe he found someone else who gave him more attention so he bailed on you. Or it's possible once the chase was almost over he got cold feet. Either way super lame.

I'd say don't even reach out to him, he clearly isn't worth your time if that's how he treats people. His loss! Focus your energy on guys who actually follow through when they say they'll message back. We guys can be idiots sometimes when it comes to that chasing/committed stuff. You deserve way better than that flakey dude. His mistake, your gain - now you know what kind of dude to avoid.

Ay yo good for you! Props for keeping it real with that dude. Nothing worse than someone who says one thing and does another. Pulling that "just got off my shift" excuse is lame too, like you couldn't send a quick text in two days? Dude needs to get his act together.

You said it perfect - actions gotta match the words. None of that what if, maybe, I'll try nonsense. You deserve someone who shows you, not just tells you, how much they're interested. This clown didn't impress you like he said he would, so you let him know! That's the kind of confidence I respect.

If I was you, I'd leave the ball in his court now. See if he steps up to actually follow through this time before giving him any more energy. But don't sweat it either way - you said what you needed to. Hold your head high Queen, you handled it well. Keep on keeping on and don't settle for less than what you deserve! Proud of you.
