He used to have a huge crush on me and I rejected every single day. We moved to different cities and i out of loneliness went back to him.

He acts like we have never met and infact behaves to me exactly the same way I did to him. I assumed it was over.

But he got shit ass broken when he assumed I have a new boyfriend which was actually my male bestie.

He shouted at me then in the phone and doesn’t talk.

OK, so basically, He's either trying to or has already gotten over You (which is totally healthy). He's unwilling to fall for You again, and that's why He avoided talking to You. Now, as He'd seen You with another man, He assumed You're just playing with His feelings and teasing Him while having a boyfriend, and that's why He got so angry. While He might be incorrect, with the limited supply of trustworthy data He's got access to, You can't really blame Him for the assumption He made. Even if You told Him this other man is just Your friend, He does know You'd say that both if it was true and You were sincere and if it was false and You just wanted to hide Your true intentions. As He probably associates You with suffering due to these rehections in the past, He's understandably more convinced of the second option. And, well, if You're going back to Him out of loneliness, His caution is most likely beneficial to both of You. Even if Your intentions are not outward hostile, this relationship of convenience is never going to work out. It's time for both of You to move on.

I doubt he likes you presently. Old hurts, multiple rejections from you and now he's suspicious. Attention-seeking alone is a way of trying to use a person. To me it seems approproate to apologize to him and politely move on even if he doesn't respond, going only for someone who you're attracted to and have a genuine curiosity about talking with regularly.
