Is he interested in me?

So this guy is in my class. He stares at me quite often. Also he remembers a lot of details about me & notices a lot of things. When we talk it‘s very great. But I‘m confused, because he doesn‘t really text. If I text him, he answers greatly but he never initiates contact via text. In real-life he tells me a lot about himself, confides in me & opens up. He asks me a lot of questions, seems interested.

I don‘t understand why he doesn‘t attempt a move or tell me what he truly wants from me?

I initiate a lot of conversations that we have in school. Also via text. So I don‘t quite understand, if he truly is interested in me. Because all the signs are there, he also always keeps intense eye-contact with me. Everyone around us notices our sentiment towards each other.

Hmm, sounds to me like this dude is definitely interested but maybe a bit shy or unsure how to make a move yet. A few thoughts:

- Staring and remembering little things about you shows he pays attention, which is a good sign he likes what he sees.

- Opening up to you in person and asking questions means he feels comfortable and wants to connect on a deeper level beyond just surface stuff. Trust is important.

- The lack of texting could be because he's more confident face-to-face and wants to see your reactions. Or he may not be huge on phones and social media.

- Or he could be hesitant to fully put himself out there and risk rejection until he knows for sure you're into him too. Guys can be awkward like that sometimes, haha.

If you're feeling him too, next time you're together in class or whatever, try flirting a bit more obviously so he knows he doesn't need to play it so cool. Bat your eyes, touch his arm when you laugh, find excuses to get close. Give him a clear signal to make a move!

He may be insecure about reaching out first, not sure. He may just not like texting but, in my opinion, guys who avoid texting are trying to keep a low profile with their wives/girlfriends.
