If a guy states “you got lipstick on”?

What does that statement mean? Cause it wasn’t a question, it was just him stating that and I’m just wondering what was the purpose of that. He was obviously looking at my lips to make that observation. Was he just looking to make conversation? By him noticing my lipstick him in some way showing interest? Also look at my other question about him asking me if I was married on 2 separate occasions in which I’m not and it was on my right hand and my purity ring.

I personally don't wear lipstick or nail polish and neither do I have piercings or tattoos. The only time when I do have to wear lipstick is on special occasions but this happens maybe twice a year. I have never worn nail polish because I don't have the need to hide my fingernails under a layer of chemicals.

So, if a guy says to me that I got lipstick, then he is mistaken.

It wasn’t really a question is was a statement. He said oh you got lipstick on as he points to my lips. I guess I’m just wondering why, what was the point of that statement? Cause it doesn’t really serve a purpose you know? If maybe he had said i like it than I’d be like oooohh ok thank you. But it was just that “you have lipstick on” and if it was just an observation what was the point of stating it. You know what I mean? When i make an observation, I typically keep it to myself especially if it’s related to someone’s lips
