I have had a crush on this guy since high school. I suppressed the feelings for years. I never told him how I felt. I watched him get into a relationship, and watched him get out. Even when he got out of one, I didn’t say anything. I then got into a relationship with someone else.

Now, I am out of the relationship and I asked him to lunch. He said he would love to catch up. Why is he leaving me on delivered now? His snap score is going up.

He seemed more enthusiastic about meeting up than me.

Sorry to say but I think this guy just isn't that into you like that. Some possibilities:

- He was being polite when you suggested lunch but doesn't actually want to hang.

- He's comfortable just keeping you on the backburner instead of following through.

- The feelings may have been one-sided on your end after years of not making a move.

- He's moved on to other people now and isn't invested like you are.

- Leaving you on delivered is a blow off - he doesn't want an actual conversation.

- His snapscore going up means he's active talking to others, just not you. Ouch!

It sucks but I don't think he has the same feelings you do. You really put him on a pedestal all this time but to him you may just be an old friend. Scary to face but better to let those feelings go. Don't waste your time pining over a dude who's not reciprocating at all. You'll find someone deserving of your crush who can't wait to hang with you for real!
