Why does my boyfriend send me dry and cold texts whenever he is angry with me whereas I talk to him with love sooner even if I'm angry or hurt?

Maybe he just needs to work on how he expresses himself when he's feeling upset. Like, I get being angry in the moment, but giving the cold shoulder isn't gonna solve anything.

You on the other hand seem like you handle conflict a lot better by still talking to him with care, even when you're mad. That's healthy - shows you still care about each other through the ups and downs.

Next time it happens, maybe sit him down and tell him how the short dry texts make you feel. That it hurts your feelings and doesn't encourage open communication. Ask if you guys can work on expressing frustrations in a constructive way instead of icing each other out.

If he's not willing to adjust how he deals with anger over time, that's kinda immature. You deserve to feel heard and cared for in the relationship too, not just when everything's good. Hopefully he sees that and puts in more effort with his words. But you're doing the right thing by still showing you care either way.
