Why does my boyfriend answer me with short text messages?

so here's the deal I just started dating this guy, and well ever since we started dating I text him & tell him how I feel and stuff and all he does is text back I love you or I miss you, like I'm trying to have long conversations with him & all he does is response with short text messages even when he isn't even busy; its like what's wrong with you dude! for me its really frustrating I can't stand it.

CAN I GET SOME ADVISE PLEASE

thanks guys, I tried it out & to turn out it was that he doenst like texting he'd rather prefer me calling him then texting, thanks for the look out guys (;

may be he doesn't like texting.. better you call him to have long conversation.. but once or twice in a week.. long conversation will not bore him if he really loves you... if he really loves you he will keep asking some questions related to your families ,your childhood something that is personal..to you.. try to notice that will he say about you more or not... the guys who are in love will always ask more about his girl only..

He might not like texting, fingers to big for the phone, or he is literally challenged or it could be somehting else ask him...he knows.

well one reason is probably you're a too fast of a texter and can't keep up. to make it more exciting try asking a little bit more complicated questions that would result in answers with explanations

Maybe you should ask him about it and tell him how you feel about the short messages. you're right. he should be putting more effort into the conversations.
