Why my boyfriend texts this?

He had been sick for a few days and we hadn’t seen each other. We met at work yesterday and he had gotten better. Even though we missed each other, we didn’t hug or kiss. Yesterday was a weird day. No matter what he said or did, I felt bored because I got annoyed by the way he laughed, joked around with another girl at work, shook her hand, etc. He dropped me off at home yesterday and I didn’t say anything other than thank you, see you later.
