I have been broken up with him for 8years but we Tex mostly on Facebook but now he saying things like I wish we never broke up I hate being single now I know you think he likes me but he broke up with me because I was concentrating on passing my high school finals than my past Came back to haunt me so I was a bit agitated and he couldn’t handle it so he dumped me and he now is even asking me to brake up with my new boyfriend I’m not doing that but why is he texting me things like that after what he did

Because he is striking out in his love life, and is trying to get back with something familiar. This is pretty easy to figure out. Why else would he be sending you messages like that. If it's such a problem then block him.
