I always felt like the reason guys aren't more interested in me is because they perceive me as ordinary in some way.
I have a degree etc but everyone has a degree.

While there will be a few exceptions, the vast majority of men care about a woman's education about as much as women care about the brand of tires on a man's car - i. e., it carries very little weight. This is something women care about in men, but men have entirely different criteria for women.
The majority of men looking for a serious relationship (and many men are not, and so their opinions should probably be seen as irrelevant) generally value the following things in potential female partners:
Fit
Feminine
Friendly
Family-oriented
Young
Chaste
Cooperative
Submissive
Peaceful
Note that you don't see things like education, degrees, career, or income levels on this list. Those things are, at best, neutral, and in many cases, a negative in the eyes of men, mostly because they tend to delay if not replace having children, and perhaps also because of the far-left brainwashing that is endemic in colleges today, which most men find very off-putting.
It's very important to understand that none of this applies to men who are just seeking casual sex, or to women who are viewed by men as only being good for casual sex (because of their look, behavior, and/or attitudes). Men often seek casual sex from women they would never consider for a relationship, but lots of women don't understand (or refuse to accept) that a man wanting to have sex with her does NOT necessarily mean he has any romantic/relationship interest in her, or that the type of woman he seeks for casual sex isn't the same as what he seeks for a relationship.
Eh I don't know, I don't think a girl's education level really matters that much. Like sure, some really smart guys might care about that kind of stuff. But most guys our age aren't thinking too much about college or degrees when it comes to liking a girl.
As for why guys aren't more interested, I wouldn't worry about it being because you seem "ordinary". High school can just be kinda weird sometimes. It could be anything from your look, to your vibe, to you just not meeting the right dudes yet. I doubt it's cause of your degree or whatever.
Just be yourself and put yourself out there. Join some clubs or activities you like so you meet more people. Guys will start noticing you more once they get to know your personality. Don't stress too much about being ordinary - we're all still figuring stuff out at this age anyway!

Her education makes her more attractive to me—especially the creative types. I am more of a math and science guy, but I am fascinated by people who are in the creative fields. Someone who takes an interest in music and literature is exciting to me.
A lot of guys have chimp brains. So, they prefer a less socially developed woman because the woman will be in a weaker position socially and financially. I never had a problem with money or getting women, so a woman with an education or other talents that make her successful doesn't intimidate me or make me lose interest. It makes me even more interested in them. Those types of guys usually want a woman who will keep her mouth shut and open her legs for them, and they're primarily losers. They don't seek women with more depth to them.
Some guys are neutral. It depends on the guy. But a lot of them are usually looking for a servant.
Looking for a servant? yikes.
Guys really disgust me sometimes
No idea. I dropped out of college after my freshman year because my business was making more than the degree I was pursuing ever would. Since then I have been rejected by women with degrees even though in many cases I make four or five times or more what they earn, so some people really do care about this.
Men tend to care about woman's looks, not education, but some men care about it.
Most guys don't care about a woman's education level or income, but most women refuse to date or marry a man who is less formally educated or makes less money than her
No. Guys do not care about your credentials, or lack thereof. Conversely, women obsess about whether a man has the proper credentials (academically) to date her or not.
Can I message you? I feel lost.
Sure, but I am heading to bed. I will reply tomorrow.
No, although t`would be nice if had SOME kind of smarts befitting her age.
No. It would be hard for me to date a woman that didn't even finish high school.
But I think that less about her education and more about her formative years.
Yes, absolutely
