The best and only method to reliably know if someone has a crush on you, likes you or flirts with you is to ask him directly.

All you have to do is to observe his body language and reaction. First, there will obviously be verbal denial but the body language tells otherwise if he does indeed like you.

People tend to lie about this topic since they have been caught. A person that does lie about it, is usually the kind of person that is unreliable and does not have the courage of his/her opinion.

I personally would avoid any contact with such a person because if he/she lies on such a trivial thing, imagine how he/she will lie on much more serious issues.
