I have hsv2 and I asked the guy who potentially gave it to me if he can show me his herpes test results and he said he doesn’t have it and can’t show it to me because his doctor has it. You can usually access test results on the patient portal these days and he said he doesn’t have the patient portal so he can’t show me his results. If he couldn’t show me the results then he definitely has something to hide right? He said he didn’t have it but it sounds like he is lying if he won’t show me his results right?

I'm not being an asshole trust me but what is getting the results from him going to do for you? Do you really want to keep talking to someone whose too lazy to provide information based on your health. Do you really want to go through that. What if he gives you another std

You're not legally required to tell someone you have herpes, but you're a piece of shit if you don't. Any patient can access their records on a portal if the provider participates in such a program, and damn near all providers do.

You say he potentially gave you Hsv2, so does that mean you've had no other sexual partners in the last 6 weeks to several months? His reluctance to agree and show you he is negative, considering you now have it, is certainly suspect.

No. I dunno what a patient portal is. The doctor just calls me, or I call him. Tell him to call his doctor and ask what the results were.
