Did he really message me by accident?

So there's this guy on FB that I had as a friend for a while, but i kinda forgot he was on my friends list because we don't talk. He's a friend because we go to the same school. So he just randomly messages me and then when I send a message confronting him about it he says that he sent it by accident. However, the thing is I've never spoken to him on Messenger before so how can he accidentally send a message when we have no chat history. So i keep messaging him and he keeps responding. Eventually I tell him if he isn't interested in me then he should just block me, and he does. So what was that about? Did he really message by accident or was he tryna spark up something?

Well, it's hard to say with this guy. Is it possible? Yes. However, I just sense a lot of immaturity here - more on his end than you.

I see. The way Facebook messenger is set up is you do not have friend contacts immediately on your list. So you’d have to physically search their name in order to start a message/chat with them. Just a piece of info to think about.

I have thought about before I wrote. I use FB Messenger often. It is possible to make a mistake by selecting someone with a similar name OR by having multiple chat windows opening and posting to the wrong one.

But, really, I think this boy is rather immature and your impatience doesn't reflect well on you either.

I think he was just inexperience and immature on how to handle the situation… but no I don’t think he accidentally message you.

Because, honestly, I didn’t expect him to do it. I was bluffing him but he really did it. So, yeah…
