I think some differences in our communication patterns and stress relief.

A lot of women seem to find it therapeutic to talk about things that stress them out and assume we guys are the same.

Most of us guys destress by *not* talking about it. We aren't avoiding the issue; we're healing already. It's like a scratch to us, not a broken bone that requires going to the hospital. It's going to heal on its own.

Serious things that hurt us can be therapeutic to talk about, like the loss of a job, the death of a loved one, etc, but not a stressful day at work. That's a teeny thing for most of us. We heal just fine sitting down and watching a game, e. g.

Another thing is that women seem to think we're broken if we don't cry or get upset very often. Sometimes men can be broken if they're seriously upset but repressing their tears. That definitely seems very unhealthy. But a lot of men don't cry or get upset very much because we're just thinking very positively and productively. That's actually very healthy and something more women should do as well, and then they also won't cry very much.

As a man representing myself, I wish men would wake the F up. The world is not meant to be ran like an unengineered fright train hurtling off a cliff, and the only 'technicians' are corrupt white men, since throughout history, time and again, men as a whole have not fought a solid war against their own structures of power that are embedded deep within society and that therefore act as speedbumps, walls, ditches, prohibiting everyone, women, BIPOC peoples, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, children from excelling and actually reaching their own, often supremely better designed goals and practices.

Social anxiety is tough. I’m sorry. Girls love a jerk sometimes but when it comes down to it, no one wants to be with a jerk their whole life. Eventually being able to connect on our vulnerabilities is what will be important. Be honest with girls, tell them you have anxiety, you would be surprised how many do as well.

I feel that’s true. The parents of My friends who I grew up with are kinda in that situation. Their mom is so sweet and definitely has a cheer leader personality. While there dad (i really do like him) could be violent. He was never violent with his family he definitely played the protective roll. But he’d love to fight other guys. But like I said deep down he’s a good guy. And my buddy Matthew. He’s a good guy he fell for a good girl but that girl was dating (from what I heard) a total dick. From my buddy’s pov she strung him along. He’s catholic so very few girls have all the check boxes he’s looking for. That girl did tho. I think the rejection really messed with him. He’s still funny but I feel like he’s really trying to play a masculine character now. He’s fit he’s in Muaythai and he’s big on guns. Every time I’m over there they’re kinda just laying around his room. Now he’s working at a jail in the inner citys and I think that with the rejection of that girl, combined with his “few options” and having to deal with a bunch of convicts every day is starting to mess with his head.
