Well yeah? But that's more due to how us humans are centered on our personality. There's a reason why my YouTube feed will look totally different to yours because we aren't focused on the same thing nor want to be. So such a video would be not appealing, as we just think about whatever we like to watch instead.

So unless you are both very much alike, sending videos of what you like is not the same for them.
