Guys, what do you mean when you say men are disposable?

That sounds self depreciating. What’s causing you guys to think that way? Disposable is a very harsh word.

Likely they are pointing out how good looking women can use attractive men before deciding they get tired of them. That they said it about men in general though, might mean they are encouraging you to dispose of your current man and upgrade to them.

I have to say I've not heard many men describe men as disposable. I've heard more women discribe men as disposable though, when they are unhappy with their man and trying to set him in what they see as 'his place'.

It simply means we are being used for some purpose (e. g. lethal jobs or being sent to the front line in a war) and when we get harmed or die, then nobody will care.

This also extends to the special treatments, which women receive but men don't.

Men are disposable, expendable, replaceable, interchangeable. We die sooner, do all of the dangerous jobs, get killed in war, and otherwise wear out sooner.

Women see men as readily replaceable and regularly replace the men in their lives with the swipe of a dating app. Larger society, law, and other women encourage and reward this behavior by women.

I don't recall saying such a thing, I'm aware I'm not disposable cause I got so many differences compared to many that I'm more of a loss lol
