Why does he stare at me then look’s away when I notice then when I look back he’s staring again? Why? Any opinions?

For the past year I’ve been working at the mall. This guy also works at the mall as well. Every time he passes by the store he stares at me then looks away. then other times doesn't even acknowledge me. Any opinion's?

I was going to say, right away, he's attracted to you (as others posted as well). Then I realised, wait... "what kind of stare?".

I presumed he's looking interested in you / liking what he see, then is being caught doing that, feeling embarassed, and breaking eye contact. Though that would be why I would look.

It occured to me, he might be a security person lol. In which case he might be staring at you in a way to "test" if you looked uncomfortable and where maybe not meant to be there.

No, just a maintenance guy just walking past the store a few times a day getting what he needs or working at different parts of the mall. We both work there so it’s hard not to run into eachother. I just wondered why this has been happening for the past year. Won’t talk to me just likes to stare lol.

Yes I’m 28, and I believe he may be a few years older than me.

He never talks to me though, and sometimes he has to come in to the store for a maintenance check and will barely look at me and just makes hand gestures and not talk lol

I wouldn't expect so. Stalkers, by definition, would follow a person and try to ingratiate themselves more deeply into a victims lives. This would be simple interest coupled with probable concern about whether there is mutual interest.
