Why do some people keep closing and reopening their Facebook accounts?

I know this guy called *Ian* who every few days, closes his account, then reopens it. What is his purpose in doing this? I do know that he said he loves me and wants a serious relationship but can’t cope with one due to autism severity. He uses this second account for work and to follow me online. He actually has two accounts.
