I suspect a potential stalker?

everyday I go back home from work around 5PM and everyday I see the same guy passing by me and staring

whenever I go to the supermarket I end up seeing him there, he would say hello and walk away

today I was in my house and spotted him staring at my house's window

am I being delusional or is he a stalker?

Woah, that is super creepy! I don't like the sound of that at all. A few things seem off:

- Seeing the same guy everywhere you go, especially your house, that's not a coincidence.

- Constant staring is rude and uncomfortable. Most guys aren't that bold randomly on the street.

- Saying hi in passing places could be normal, but with the other behaviors it seems like he's following you.

You're right to feel weirded out. Your gut is probably telling you something's not right. A few things I'd suggest:

- Take photos of him discreetly if you see him again, to have evidence in case you need to get authorities involved.

- Tell some close friends/family about it so others are aware in case something does happen. Safety in numbers.

- Be extra alert when you're coming and going alone. Maybe change up your routine too like taking different routes home.

- Consider reporting to the non-emergency police line just to have it documented, even if they can't do much yet.

- Carry something like pepper spray just in case, but hopefully it won't come to that.

He sounds like a guy whos desperatly trying to meet you. I would say the part about him saying hello then walking away is sort of stalker. Since if he has enough ability to say hello to you, he surely should be able to expresss more liking you.

So he might just be some neighbour though, maybe a neighbor who finds you attractive.

Ultimately I would err on the side of saying the evidence isn't conclusive.

So, I'll say this... why are you spotting him? Is he attractive to you?
