Probably not, but it doesn't necessarily mean he won't later or doesn't now.

So, younger children are difficult to fathom, as they don't themselves yet know what their like as people (they are working that out). As an example, when I was 14 I took to punching a girl on the arm and then running away (and I had no idea why we started doing this, just me and my guy friends found it inexplicably funny). I suspect, as an adult, I didn't understand yet but enjoyed the attention from the girl it brought (they chased us to hit us back) but I was too young to conciously realise that. When young, girls are seen as something "girly" by guys and the general consensus is usually being girly is not a good thing for a guy to be associated with and other guys of similar age usually tease them (usually wears off around 15 and above, but some guys will mature faster or slower).
