Guys, what kind of surprises do you like from your girlfriends?

There are various forms of surprises that I would like, but it would be impossible for me to describe the totality of the gamut of them in words. For this opinion, I will limit myself to attempting to convey one class of surprise. These are those that manifest themselves when I become aware of a new condition, state, event, circumstance, behavior, etc. that has arisen as a result of me, my actions, my identity, my views, my opinions, etc. and when this change was unexpected.

As a simple example, it would be a pleasant surprise if my girlfriend were to invite me to watch a particular movie with her after she has discovered that it is among my favorites. A further surprise would be if she enjoys the movie when it is one that I didn't believe would appeal to her, and I would like the fact that she was introduced to a new thing that gives entertainment to her because of my likes and her steps to find out about them. Sometimes a girlfriend has never found a thing to be interesting enough to find out more about until she seeks more information about it in an attempt to be more cognizant of what I like and don't like and any reasons I have for so doing. She may give something a chance that she might otherwise not consider doing.

Another example would be if she were to go out of her way to try to improve my quality of life in some manner when it was really unnecessary to do so. This could be expressed using any of the five love languages. With physical touch, for example, she might give me a random hug because she sees that I could use a bit of comforting. For acts of service, this could take the form of picking up something of the floor for me because she knows that I have strained my back. For words of affirmation, this could be her telling her friends that she appreciates the things that I do for her and the attention I pay to making sure her life is as pleasant as is within my power to ensure.

Wake up BJ is the BEST!!! I like experiences not material things and she's been great delivering for me. I got to go skydiving, I got to learn how to pilot a plane, I got to go jet skiing, She rented a Jeep so we can go up and down the beach, fishing trip for me and the guys. She's good!

I like it when my SO does something nice for me, without me having to ask. A simple example. She's out shopping and she brings home my favorite chicken sandwich for my lunch.
