Why is my ex talking to me every day if we've been broken up for 9 months and barely hangout?

When we broke up he said he didn't have feelings for me. But he talks to me almost daily, and doesn't want to lose our snapstreak that is hundreds of days old.

That is weird sis. I'd be questioning his motives too if I were you. A few thoughts:

- Him saying he doesn't have feelings but still wanting daily contact doesn't add up. No need to stay that close as "just friends".

- He might miss the comfort and attention of your connection even if the romantic part is over for him. People are weird like that.

- Could be he's wanting to keep you on the back burner in case he changes his mind or gets lonely down the road. Not cool.

- The snapstreak thing is just an excuse, like he's worried how you'll react if he stops talking to you.

I'd say call him out on it if it bothers you. Tell him you need proper space to move on and get closure if he's not going to commit to you fully. You don't need that confusion, girl!

If he keeps giving you mixed signals, might be time to cut him off completely so you can heal without his daily disruptions. You deserve better than that wishy washy shit.

Mostly because I'm lonely. Maybe there's like 10% feelings there sometimes but I guess it must be true on his part as well if he's the one initiating. But I don't see myself with him anymore, and 10% doesn't mean I haven't moved on or have real feelings for him. When I get into a new relationship I'm sure even that will go down to 0.
