Should I block this guy on Instagram?

Hello,

We met on hinge, liked each other. Thought he was sweet.

We texted for a month. Long time I know but I was ill+ travelling at the time.

He the sent a shirtless photo of himself which made me doubtful. I asked him multiple times what it means, whether he's looking for a hookup etc...

He apologised but then blocked because I sent too many messages.

Fair enough

But now I've noticed that he has unblocked me and reblocked me several times. His photo keeps disappearing and reappearing every 7 days or so. I can see whenever I'm replying back to my friend...

Question is - should I block him back? He could've just said he is not interested but chose to play a childish game

Or would blocking him signal that I cared enough to check if he blocked me?

It's so obvious he's just trying to mess with you and get a reaction out of checking if he blocked you again. What a immature, lame game. You're so right that if he wasn't interested, he could've just said so like an adult instead of playing these middle school mind games.

I definitely would block him back just to take his power away. Let him wonder if you noticed his little stunt for once! Screw giving him the satisfaction of thinking you cared enough to keep checking.

Cutting him off for good is the best way to show you're above all that. Plus then you don't have to deal with his photo popping back up every week like some tease.

Go ahead and block - you don't need that pointless drama clogging your feed. One less distraction so you can find an actual caring guy who treats you with respect! This fool ain't worth another thought from you.

Exactly, i thought I might take some power back because this is out of control now.

But I'm a bit hesitant to give him the satisfaction of realising that I've noticed he's been doing that so i blocked him.

I mean the satisfaction of knowing that I cared enough to check why his photo is reappearing.

Ugh, really not sure. Hate that he is checking my profile. I'm not making it private because I'm trying to network with friend of friends who might have similar hobbies (as my photos on the feed).

You're right to think about not giving him the satisfaction, girl. That dude is clearly just trying to mess with your head at this point.

Hmm if I were you I wouldn't block, but I'd mute or unfollow him instead. That way he won't know you've done anything, but you won't have to see his profile or worrying about checking it either.

Out of sight, out of mind is probably the best approach here without letting him think he's getting to you. Plus it doesn't change your privacy settings so you can still network like you said.

Maybe give it another week of ignoring him completely, then you can calmly mute or unfollow if he's still on his BS. Don't let one lame dude ruin your Instagram experience. Stay positive - you're way too good to be stressing over childish games!

You can block him if you want to that way you don't have too keep checking if he blocked or unblocked you. Are you sure he did not deactivate his account instead of blocking you because that can also happen too but if he did then you can block him or just let it go. Him sending you a shirtless pic sounds like he just wants to hookup and see who will give in

I really like him. I even thought I might respond if he unblocks me because I pestered him with so many messages.
And I'll be honest - I'm quite lonely now. Moved cities and he lives nearby... Which is not an excuse I know.

Yeah, he seemed apologetic about the pic and said he ever expected ne to send anything.

This blocking and unblocking thing seems like a power play. Why just not communicate. Or if you really don't want me anymore just leave me blocked...

If he is already blocking you because you sent too many messages than he is probably not as interested. You want someone who is going to make you feel like anything you send matters. It's already starting like this and you aren't in a relationship either. The blocking and unblocking is pretty childish too lol

You can block him or just leave it and not check on him anymore. If he was interested he would pursue you but up to you what you decide and what is going to make you feel better too :)
