Girls, What's the goofiest romantic gesture a guy's ever done for you?

Has a guy ever done something goofy to win your affection? Did it work? 🤭

Here's mine, from back in college:

I remember crossing my college campus one afternoon just before graduation... my nose in a book as always... and one of the guys threw his football right at me. All I remember hearing is my name being shouted from across the lawn followed by a sharp "heads up!!!" The guy was already rushing towards me, suddenly realizing what could happen...

I reflexively dropped my books and stepped back just in time to catch the football in my arms. It took the air right out of me... I stood there in wide-eyed, shaken surprise.

He slowed his run to a jog, an amused expression on his face as he stood in front of me and said, "That's my girl." and rubbed my arm, then pulled me into a hug and asked if I was ok.

(All that just to hug me and walk me home... my goodness.)

I don't know if you could call his act romantic but it was a clear indication that he was interested in dating me. Suffice to say that I was not and that I did not play his game.

A few years back I was having a chat with this guy who I interacted on a strictly platonic level. I never showed any interest like I never do with any guy (or girls) but he thought that I could be overturned by being romantic in his own way.

He tried very hard to lead me to chat on topics that I don't let myself in such as romantic chats. I am a very factual person and don't let that nonsense bother me.

Anyway, I told him that one day he is going to burn his finger with that kind of chat. I guess he took good mental note of what I said because the very next day when I met that guy again, he had a big bandage on his finger.

Asking him what happened to him, he looked deep in my eyes and said that he burnt his finger in a clumsy attempt to get more than just my attention.

I just rolled my eyes and gave him this condescending look. I think he got the message and he never initiated any kind of romantic conversation with me anymore.
