What does it mean when a guy suddenly brings his family around you?

He’s always finding reasons to be around me, but suddenly he’s been bring his family around me. We hardly talk on the phone too which is why it’s weird. Never talked about being officiating (he’s an ex-FWB)

Each day there was a new family member he brought with him. In February, I got promoted moved to the back of the store sometimes, I’m at the front but if you wanted to see me, you would have to actually look for me

Yes, same guy not only he comes to my work but he brings his whole family. I only see him by himself. At first I thought it’s a coincidence but after the dad, he brought his sister, then his brother. He looked eager for me to meet them but it was at work so I couldn’t really say much. I don’t know why he would do that knowing we haven’t talked but he’s always there and even got a job there but through someone else
