Are there signs you are better looking then you think?

I have always struggled with low self esteem and haven’t seen many signs I’m better looking then how I view myself

Sure, but I don't always take them seriously. I generally think of myself as "fit but plain," yet I tend to get approached and complimented a bit by others.

(Actually, their opinions sometimes make me chuckle bc that's not how I see myself, you know? And I suppose if the same compliment is genuinely offered on a few different occasions it's worth at least considering, however I was always taught not to let what people say go to my head -- show gratitude for their kindness but stay humble.)

Nope. Not anymore. Not for over 15 years. I never was goodlooking. My body was smokin but that's it. Both my parents were well above average looking but I got all the facial characteristics out of place. And it fuckin' sucks. My mom's lips but my dad's jaw. Supposedly my paternal grandma's eyes. I got 2 sisters older by 2.5 and 3.5. Every single friend I've had since 11 was in love with one or the other. Except Craig. Unless he just never admitted it. Come to think about it, he did show off every time we went over her house.
