Why do guys like seeing their girlfriend wearing their hoodie?

Okay before you say anything I know not all guys like it but for the ones who do, why do you like it?

I don’t think most men care about that. Plus too girls usually just “own” it. They take it, start wearing it as their own. What’s he going to do get mad at her, tell her to give it back? If he did she’d get upset, mad, possibly even breakup w him. A lot of things that women do men are just forced to endure. Like all the things women say about men. We don’t need men, men are trash, men are misogynistic, etc, etc. But if men do it you’re cancelled. So yes men just let women get away w a lot of things. Now as far as for the ones who do it. One it shows her as being smaller, cuter, because a lot of times men lie women smaller than them. Two, her scent is still on your clothes so when you’re not w her you can still smell her scent. Three some clothing on women looks sexy, like if she’s wearing his hockey jersey or football jersey w just a pair of panties on. Plus there’s a good chance if she’s wearing your clothes she doesn’t have a bra on underneath. I think too it shows she’s claiming you. Not in a bad way the way women like to portray a man as oh now he owns you. It shows they’re a couple.

It was just the same as woman wearing a sport stars letterman jacket in high school back in the day. You'll see this mentioned in movies like Back to the future. Declaration from the girl that the man/boy is his. A sweater is a personal item and not as significant as a jacket with team numbers on it, but it's still serving the same purpose. It feels good.

My guy does and I also like seeing him in sweaters I've given him.

I gave him a snake ring of mine and he traded me a sweater. He likes the ring cause he can wear it on a cord while he works, and I like his sweater cause I can smell him.

When I wash the sweater, I give it back to him for a few days so it smells like him.

I wasn't aware that we even had a choice. I'm pretty sure every woman I have ever dated has stolen my shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, and even sweat-pants - even though they are big enough for two of her. Lol.

To the extent that we like it, it's because it shows that she likes us and wants to be associated with us and feel close to us. My girlfriend now usually sleeps in my T-shirts and will wear them all day if it's a day off and she doesn't have to go anywhere, but she especially likes to wear my clothes when we're both busy and aren't going to see each other for a few days. I teased her about having my jacket on when it was 90F out a few weeks ago, when I was out of town for the weekend, but she said wearing it made her feel better about missing me. Hearing things like that is why we like it.

It's the same reason women steal our hoodies. Not kidding every single girlfriend I ever had stole a hoodie from me. My wife even, I have no hoodies cause she wears them all.

And guess what.. I like it. Nothing hotter than seeing my wife in her cat ear hoodie and some black sweat pants.
