He either starts getting handsy or starts doing weird stuff like hovering over your shoulder to see what's in your purse or look down your blouse, blushing if you ask him what he's doing and he's at a sudden loss for words. If he keeps trying to hold your hand, stand too close or suddenly has "tunnel vision" (staring/looking but not really listening). If he seems conflicted about spending time with you or about how much time you're spending with another guy... or away from him.
Men tend to be obvious. If you have to ask this, chances are nothing is happening.
he's your friend
