Friends with benefits issue?

Me and this guy, we are friends with benefits. We had a small break about two weeks ago, for him to allow for space. It helped in a way. When reconnecting I said what boundaries I wanted to respect. 1. Keeping it causal, not texting everyday, being honest and open not beating around the bush etc. He agreed with that, but reforced the idea of keeping causal and not texting everyday which he wants do. But what confused me in a way was he said still keeping in touch and I asked if he wanted to add anything else he then said "I think that’s the main points but yeah just keeping it cool and breezy and just going with the flow. " What's your opinion on this? We hung out the next day and was a good time he was very cuddlely and seemed to me he missed our connection abit.
