In my particular case, it's a actually a turn off. While it's nice to see that you are capable and responsible in taking care of another being adequately, I do not like dogs. It's not a dealbreaker for me, but it is a mark that's not easy to get over (lots of dog trauma when i was younger).

I'm surprised at all of the negative comments.

For me, the most attractive guy would become far less attractive if he didn't at least honestly like dogs and cats, especially dogs. He wouldn't have to have one right now because, honestly, if he really knows dogs, they don't do well when left alone a lot. So, if he did have one, he'd better have it in doggy day care or something while he was at work, unless other people or pets were with it while he was gone.

I mean they’re not. No more than I would be having my dogs. It just shows they’ve made a commitment (doesn’t mean they’ll keep it though) and depending on breed, how it’s treated and if it’s properly taken care of. Any attraction can very quickly turn to disgust if they’ve impulse purchased a dog and haven’t adequately trained it or meet its specific breed needs

I actually kinda hate dogs so... not all actually. Cause to get with him I gotta like the dog too. I would be much more down for a cat guy or a single dad though.

1 out of 10 hot. Like he can still be hot but i nearly lose all attraction if he's a pet owner, specifically if he has indoor pets

Trust me, you can still be ugly and own a dog. A dog simply means that maybe you're capable of taking care of something other than yourself, but that's about it. A hot person who owns a dog, is a hot person.
