Girls, Is this why men who own pets are attractive?

Because it shows that you’re able to provide and take care of something, as you would a wife, and kids. You’re able to make sure your pets are loved, fed, healthy, spending time with them, and not expecting anything in return for it.

I don’t think owning a pet automatically makes a guy attractive. For me it depends on what type of animal it is. If it’s a cat then that’s an immediate red flag for me. I don’t know why but it seems guys who own cats as single guys are usually weird, not very masculine and I just can’t trust a man who went out and got cats to keep as a pet. I also don’t like cats but that besides the point, single men who owns cats are weird and not very masculine. That has been my experience. Whenever I’ve learnt a guy has cats it’s turned out he was weird or bad person. I’ve found it to be a surprisingly accurate way to tell.

If it’s a dog then that’s good and he comes across as sweet and like easygoing and relaxed, down to earth and yeah the things you list.

If it’s any other type of animal he’s most likely a nerd.

Of course this is just my experience. It could be generally true or not, and there are always exceptions. So yeah, nobody have to come for me in the replies 🙄

People who own pets are often more caring and empathetic! And who doesn’t love animals! The majority of pet owners love their animals more than they do themselves
